ORONO – John A. Clisham, 77, died unexpectedly on September 2, 2023 at a Bangor healthcare center. He was born April 2, 1946 in Bangor, the son of John and Dorothy Clisham of Hampden.
John graduated from Hampden Academy, class of 1964. He married Shirley Johnston of Orrington in 1974 and they had one daughter, Kelley-Anne. John retired from BMHI and was an active member of Anah Shriners, masons and the American Legion.
John is survived by his wife, Shirley, of Orono; daughter, Kelley-Anne and her partner, Liam, of Portland; brother, Steve of Winterport and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held 10am Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Riverside Cemetery, Orono.
