After graduating from Stillwater Central High School in 1962, he attended Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. John enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1966, serving for four years, as a Cryptographic Technician. He was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, Clark Air Base, Philippines and Wright Patterson Base, Dayton, Ohio.
John married his beloved Rose Ellen Poutre on February 11,1967, and they embarked on many adventures together. Including giving the opportunity for Rose to live in the Philippines while John was stationed there.
Upon returning home, Jack built a successful career in the technology industry for 40 years, working in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts before retiring in 2010.

He was a loving father to his children, Michael and his wife Maggie (Glover) Daniels and Michelle and her husband Todd Kuindersma, and a proud grandfather to Gavin and Conor Daniels, and Daniel Kuindersma.
Growing up, Jack enjoyed working alongside his father delivering oil and hunting, fishing, and playing sports with his friends. He had many great memories of Sunday suppers with his family. Rose and John developed a cherished tradition of taking long drives to discover scenic fishing spots throughout the places they lived. His favorite would have to be fishing the waters off of Rhode Island.
