John L. Malone, 72, passed away March 2, 2021 at his home. He was born in Damariscotta, March, 2, 1949 the son of George A. Malone Sr. and Rebecca M. ( Hodgkins)Malone.
John proudly served in the US Marine Corp. He had been a resident of Winterport for 45 years.
John worked in the Bangor shoe industry for many years as a machinist. He retired from a long career as an arborist with Asplundt Tree Co.
He loved to ride his motorcycle with his friends and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing.
John loved his family and will be missed by many whom he developed friendships with along the way in the community.
Surviving are his wife, Jill Malone; daughter, Stephanie; step-son, Wayne Carson and wife Cheryl; mother, Rebecca Malone; brothers, George and Scott Malone; grandchildren, Winter, Gage and Garet Carson, and Hayden Susan Lynn Malisos.
He was predeceased by his father, brother, Blaine and daughter, Susan Lynn Malone.
Services will be private.
