GLENBURN - John A. Storey, Jr., 50, died unexpectedly January 22, 2022, at his residence in Glenburn. He was born October 7, 1971, in Bangor, the son of John A. and Betty (Dugas) Storey.
John graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1990. After graduation, John held many jobs, as he was a Jack of all trades and master of none. He worked for many years at Economy Motors, Inc. in Hermon doing multiple jobs. He married Tina Erhard in 1994. In 2000 the love of his life came into the world, his daughter, Shalin.
John loved the outdoors. He loved animals and especially wildlife and spent many hours brook fishing with his dad, or just walking in nature. He was a private person but had many friends and loved his family dearly. He was always witty with a joke or just a comical reply to whatever the topic of conversation may be. You just never knew what he would come up with. Every conversation that he had with his sister always ended with an “I love you”.
Surviving, in addition to his daughter, Shalin Storey, of Bucksport; are his father, John A. Storey, Sr and his life partner, Cindy Walker; sister, Sheri Martin and her husband, Darren; nieces, Hillary and her husband, Christopher Piotrowski and their daughters, Harper and Hayden Piotrowski, Paige and her husband, Nicholas Searles, all of Hermon; many aunts and uncles. John was predeceased by his mother, Betty and grandmother, Lillian Dugas.
A celebration of John’s life will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2-4 PM at Dysart’s Restaurant 1110 Broadway, Bangor. An interment will be held in the spring where he will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer, with his mother and grandmother.
