John Treadwell, 77, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 12, 2024, due to complications of a stroke.
He graduated from Hermon High School in 1966.
John loved his God, family, friends and naps, (in that order) .
He was a dependable worker at a shoe factory, Briggs and he spent 30 years at Eastern fine Paper Company in Brewer.
John was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon and their three children, John Scott of Auburn, Mark of Brewer and Beth Allen of Glenburn; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother Fred of Etna; a sister-in-law, Carol of Glenburn, many nieces and nephews.
His journey was not easy but now he is at peace in his heavenly home.
A funeral service will be held at Crosspoint Church, Broadway, Bangor, at a date and time to be announced. A two hour visitation will be held before the service.
