Jonathan Michael Ferreira, 47, died unexpectedly on September 24, 2023.
Jon graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1994 and Emerson College , Boston, Ma. BFA in Acting, Cum Laude,1998., Point Park University, Pittsburgh, PA: BA in Theatre Education, Summa Cum Laude, 2003., and Illinois State University, MFA in Directing, Summa Cum Laude, 2011
He is survived by his mother Janice E. Gans and her husband Herbert M. Gans of Levant, Me., his father Daniel J. Ferreira and his wife Judith of New London, N.H.; brothers Matthew and wife Cynthia Ferreira and family of Beverly Ma., Daniel and wife Kendra Ferreira and family of Okinawa, Japan, sister Marilyn and husband Matt Menning and family of Bow, NH, brother Andrew Ferreira of Atlanta, Ga.;
stepsister Crystal and her husband Jimmy Kelley and family of Cape Coral, Fl., stepsister Pamela Smith and family of Island Falls, Me., stepbrother Tyler Gans of Ellsworth; special cousins Ryan and his wife Angela Costa and family, Corinna Martell and family of Taunton, MA.
uncle, Paul and Marli Richardson of Las Vegas, NV.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents William and Frances Richardson and his paternal grandparents Manny and Tillie Ferreira , and his aunt Laura Costa.
A memorial will be held Saturday Sept. 30th 11:00 at Glad Tidings Church 1033 Broadway, Bangor, Me.
