Jonathan Haws

Hampden and Waterville - Jonathan M. Haws, 26, passed away suddenly September 14, 2018, in Utah while there on vacation with his father and brother. He was born July 25, 1992, in Bangor, the son of Michael and Amy (Umbrecht) Haws.

Jonathan was a graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 2011, and a 2015 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in chemical engineering. Jon was currently employed at Sappi North America in Skowhegan.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 4-7 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A celebration of Jon’s life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the family camp in Newport.
