J. Albert Snow

Bangor – J. Albert “Snowball” Snow, 95, died October 23, 2019. He was born January 27, 1924, the son of Fred and Georgia (Cox) Snow. He married Mary Leona Casey January 30, 1943. J. Albert was employed with Bangor and Aroostook Railroad for 43 years. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bangor. J. Albert was a dedicated Mason, a member and past Master of Pioneer Lodge # 72 AF&AM of Ashland, receiving his 50 year Veteran’s medal in Pioneer Lodge on May 9, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Mary Leona Snow; five children, Mary Joyce Bevacqua and her husband, Charles, of Palm Coast, Florida, Jack L. Snow and his wife, Pamela, of Gorham, Jerry D. Snow and his wife, Glenda, of Palm Coast, Florida, Marilyn Marczynski, of Palm Coast, Florida, Marlene J. Hatch and her husband, David, of Leominster, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Vincent, Paul, Gregory, Anita, and Yanno Bevacqua, Robert Snow, April Clark, John Snow, Jeremy Snow, Bridget Olmstead, Allen Hatch, Amy Longonecker, and Jenny Marczinski; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Alfonso Marczynski. The family would like to thank Beacon Hospice for the exceptional care they provided J. Albert. Services will be private for family.
