Brewer – Jordan “Jordy” Parkhurst, 17, died unexpectedly November 16, 2019. He was born April 29, 2002, in Bangor, the son of Scott and Debra (Howell) Parkhurst.
Jordy, was a funny, compassionate, fun loving individual. He had a strong personality and an even stronger love for his family and friends. He enjoyed life, sports and videogames. Jordy shared a very close bond with his cousins, who loved him very much. He was everyone’s favorite.
Jordy attended Brewer High School, and would have been part of the graduating class of 2020. He was active in sports, participating in football, baseball, golf, but his biggest passion was hockey. Jordy was looking forward to his senior year of varsity hockey.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Jean Parkhurst; and his grandfather, Paul Parkhurst.
He is survived by his parents, Scott and Debra; his older brother and sister, Ryan and Meghan; grandfather, Ronald Howell, and his wife, Mary; grandmother, Constance Gay; aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Shawn Hagerty, Michele “Shelley” Morrison, and Steve Parkhurst; cousins, Paige, Logan, Sydney, Aidan, and Quinn.
A celebration of life will be held 4:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2019 at Jeff’s Catering, 15 Littlefield Way, Brewer. Those who wish to remember Jordan in a special way can make gifts in his name to Brewer High School Hockey, 79 Parkway S, Brewer, ME 04412.
