Joyce Dickison

Joyce Ann Dickison, 75, of Hampden, Maine and previously Poulsbo, Washington passed away on May 7th, 2019 peacefully at home with her family, friends, and beloved animals. Joyce was born in Canton, Ohio on May 6th, 1944. Enlisting during the Vietnam era, she served in the United State Navy and achieved the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer during her 30 years of service. She dedicated her life to service and to her fellow veterans by working in the La Jolla VA Medical Center after her military retirement. She had a passion for cats and dogs and especially greyhounds. She spent much of her time volunteering at Greyhound Adoption Center in Dehesa, California.
