Judith Elizabeth Jones, 76, passed away peacefully October 22. 2021, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 14, 1945, in Dexter the daughter of Merrill and Muriel (Butters) Small.
In March of 1970 she married her husband of 30 years, Maurice W. Jones. Together they operated Jones Shingle Mill on the Exeter Road for many years. She loved to play Scrabble and loved checking out yard sales. Judy enjoyed country music, especially Conway Twitty. More than anything her family was the love of her life and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children; a son, Jeffrey Tilton and wife Lisa; a daughter, Heidi Jones-Cohen and husband Andy; a sister Sherrill Wallace and husband Wally; grandchildren, Whitney Eriksson and husband Matt, Tiffany Tilton and fiancé T.J. Watts, Mikayla Tolman and husband Kyle, Emilee Cohen, Laynee Cohen, Sydnee Cohen; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Eriksson and Owen Tolman; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Myrna, Faye, and Lorna; special friends, DW & Jeanne Bragdon, Leslee and Dean Stone, Chris and Heather Gooley, Katie Talbot, Barry and Diana Skolfield, Bruce Tilton, and many other dear friends. In addition to her parents Judy was predeceased by her husband Maurice Jones; a son, Michael Tilton; a sister, Starr Davis; and a brother, James Small. The family would like to express a special thank you to Kale Thompson, the staff at Care & Comfort, ER Staff at NL-EMMC; and the Corinth Fire Department and EMT Staff.
Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Noon.
