After moving to Dixmont in the early 1990s, Ms. Patterson became an active member of the Dixmont Historical Society, was a primary author of the town’s published history, and served as Cemetery Sexton. She is survived by her husband Curtis Wright of Dixmont; a brother Michael Giggey and his wife Caryl of Topsham; and step children Jennifer Smith of Newburgh, Angela Wright of North Carolina, Sean Ireland of Hampden, and Keven Ireland of Bangor. Judy loved to help people and worked tirelessly to support her friends, family, former students and town committees.
