Judith Pinkham

May 1, 1941 — March 13, 2025

Bangor - Judith Elizabeth Pinkham, 83, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born in Bangor, May 1, 1941, the daughter of John Elliott and Irene (Whitmore) Elliott.

Judy was a proud "city girl" and attended schools in the Bangor School District throughout her education. As an adult, Judy moved to Orrington for several years, where she started her family. Eventually, however, Judy and her daughters moved back to her beloved city of Bangor to start anew. It was shortly after moving back that Judy met the love of her life and steadfast companion of 50 years, her husband, Ralph "Skipp" Pinkham. Together they provided a loving and caring home for the girls.

Judy was loved by all who knew her. An avid reader, Judy loved biographies and always seemed to have a good book on her nightstand. She also loved music and would often spend the evenings with Skipp listening to some of their favorite albums. Judy was a proud homemaker for most of her life and was the heart of the home. She had a quick wit and loved a funny story. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph Pinkham, of Bangor; daughters, Wendy Briggs and husband, Don, of Orrington, Susan Smith of Orrington, and Gena Hersey and husband, Dale, of Kenduskeag; grandchildren, Jessica Briggs, Heather Inferrera, Courtney Noonan, Christopher Hersey, Taylor Smith, and Alia Abdelqader; great grandchildren, Chloe, Amari, Zachary, Cody, and Jayden; siblings, John Elliott, Gary Elliott, Marsha LaHaye, and Lisa Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

Judy is predeceased by her beloved daughters, Kelley Abdelqader and Irene Smith; parents, John and Irene Elliott; and siblings, Donna Atwell, Barbara Kirisits, and Barry Elliott.

A private funeral service was held on March 19, 2025.
