Bangor - Karen Russell Dudley, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 30, 2021, at her home in Bangor. She was born on August 16, 1938, in Plymouth, Mass, the daughter of Donald and Amy (Russell) Richmond.
Karen loved spending time at her camp on Green Lake, caring for her grandchildren, wintering in Florida and her daily games of cribbage with her husband. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, John Dudley; children, John Dudley and wife, Patti, of Orono, Lauren McCloskey, of Broomfield, Colorado, and Scott Dudley of Ellsworth; grandchildren, John Dudley and wife, Ashley, Kiley Millen and husband, Mike, Jordan Dudley and wife, Joy, Meghan McCloskey and husband, Fred Shattell; great grandchildren, Ethan, Eli, Easton and Nathan Dudley, Emma Land, Cole and Logan Millen; sister, Joyce Marshall; sister-in-law, Susanne McLeod; nephews, and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, and son-in-law, Terry McCloskey.
The family would like to thank the staff at St Joseph’s Hospital for the wonderful care given to Karen.
