KAREN C FORD
CORINTH
Karen C Ford, 59, passed away unexpectedly at her home on 4/27/2022. Karen was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on October 21st, 1962. She was the second daughter in a family of six. She was the rock of the family.
She moved to Maine in 1983, where she met her husband of 35 years, Robert Ford and they married in 1986. They had three children who made her four grandchildren who were the love of her life. She loved watching them every day and couldn’t wait for them to get off the bus after school. Karen had many jobs over the years but her most rewarding job was working in the home healthcare field where she helped many seniors enjoy the little time they had left. Karen had a kind, warm, loving, and fun personality and her smile would light up the room. She was truly the life of the party and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Ford; their three children; Kenneth Huntley, Katrina Shaw, and Justin Ford; a son in-law, Timothy Shaw; a daughter in-law, Krisse Ford; four grandchildren; Addison Ford, Annabel Ford, Ford Shaw, Kyle Shaw; her mother, Jacqueline Morabito; her mother and father in-law, William and Rosemary Ford; her three brothers; Kevin Coppola and his wife, Lisa; Timothy Coppola, and David Morabito; two sisters, Ginger Stoffel and Tanya Colella; three brother in-laws; Stephen Ford and his wife, Joanne; Timothy Ford, Peter Ford and his wife, Cheryl; a sister in-law, Deborah Gonyar; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Kenny Coppola.
She will be truly missed and always in our thoughts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM, Tuesday, May 3rd, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish at St. John’s Catholic Church, 217 York Street, Bangor, ME 04401, with a reception following the service.
