Greenville – Kathleen “Kaye” Christine (Trenholm) Kinner, 91, passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, June 28, 2019 at Winterberry Heights in Bangor, which has been her home for the past two years. Kaye was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bangor, January 12, 1928, the daughter of Walter and Verna (Bamford) Trenholm.

Kaye was married to William Carl Kinner for over 66 years. Together they raised their four daughters, Anita, Kathie, Marilyn and Carol Ann, while traveling around the world with Bill’s career with the U.S. Government. They retired to Greenville, Maine and enjoyed their camp on Moosehead Lake where four generations of the family share many wonderful memories.

In addition to her parents, Kaye was predeceased by her husband, Bill; her daughter, Marilyn Sherman; son-in-law, Robert Carlson; and her brother, Richard Trenholm.

She is survived by her sister, Pinkie Bartley, of Greenville; daughters, Anita Carlson, Kathie Pandolfo, and Carol White; her sons-in-law, Sal Pandolfo, and Joe Sherman; nine grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Carla, Angela, Sarah, Melissa, Emily, Megan, Cassidy; nine great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
Kaye’s family is grateful for the loving care she received over the years from her caregivers in Greenville, the staff at Winterberry, and in her final days, St. Joseph’s Hospice.

A private interment will be held at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta. A celebration of Kaye’s life will be forthcoming.
