Keileen Nowell

WINTERPORT – Keileen A. “Kiki” Nowell, 44, passed away, January 12, 2014, at a local hospital, with her family by her side. She was born October 10, 1969, in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Keith and Kathleen (Braley) Laplante.
Keileen graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, in MA. She was a home maker for her family and enjoyed being a home school teacher. Keileen was a farm girl at heart. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and friend. Keileen was a member of Calvary Chapel in Orrington.
Keileen is survived by her parents; her husband of 26 years, Leroy “Marty” Nowell, of Winterport; her children, Sarah Ferland and her husband, Jacob of Island Falls, Michael Nowell and his wife, Hannah of Sedgwick, Lillian Holland and her husband, Kyle of Carmel, and Olivia Nowell of Winterport; a brother, Kary Laplante and his wife, Raquel; several aunts and uncles; and one nephew.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A private memorial service will be held for the family. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
