CORINTH - Keith Richard Trask, 69, died suddenly Sept. 21, 2013, after a tragic automobile accident in Corinth. He was born July 16, 1944, in Hudson, the son of Albert Trask Sr. and Inez (Jack) Trask.
Keith loved the outdoors and greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also enjoyed gambling and there are many fond memories of times at Hollywood Casino, trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Keith worked for the city of Bangor for 23 years in the airport department until he retired. He also owned and operated his own small engine lawn and garden equipment business for the past 35 years. Keith loved his family. He touched the lives of many, especially children within the community by supporting, coaching, and instilling work ethic and skills at his local business. His granddaughter was the center of his world. He never missed a sporting event and was always on the sidelines cheering her on at all her games. He will be dearly missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna (Tozier) Trask; his dear daughter, Tammy Trafton and husband, Todd of Corinth; his one-and-only granddaughter, Brooke Trafton; brothers, Albert Trask Jr. and wife, Norma of Hudson, George Trask and wife, Brenda of Corinth, Carl Trask and wife, Patty of Kenduskeag; sisters, Elizabeth Eaton of Corinth, Gloria Bouchard and husband, Bert of Lagrange, Helen Freeman and husband, Doug of Charleston; and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, David Trask, and a sister, Christine Brasslet.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, with Rev. Matthew M. Ward, pastor of the Charleston Pentecostal Church, officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
