Kenneth H. Connelly, 82, went to be with his Lord on March 20, 2021. He was born in Bangor, Maine on June 17, 1938, the son of Albion and Isla Hamilton Connelly.
Ken was educated in the schools of Bangor and Charleston, Maine. He served in the Army during the Vietnam years and an additional 25 reserve years, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant .He also worked for many years for the Diamond International Corp. He was a member of the Ralph Pollard Lodge #217, Scottish Rites Shrine and the American Legion.
Ken is survived by his wife and best friend, Lynne C. Connelly; a son, Patrick of Jacksonville, FL along with his wife Kim and their 2 sons, Will and Jake; a daughter, Shawna Connelly Becene, her husband Ahmet and their 3 children, Iris, Madeleine and Khan of West Simsbury CT.; and his brother, Donald from Sarasota , FL.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the Bangor City Section of Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Severance Drive off Mt. Hope Avenue at 10:45 AM. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
