Kenneth "Emmett" Locke

May 28, 1956 — November 3, 2021

Kenneth “Emmett” Locke, 65, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on November 3, 2021. He was born May 28, 1956, in Houlton, the son of Robert and Delores (Seeley) Locke.

Emmett was an avid hunter and fisherman, when you didn’t catch him in the woods or working, he would be at home with his wife and dogs studying anything and everything that had to do with sports and checking his fantasy sports teams. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and all Hermon Sports. Emmett has touched many lives in his 65 years on earth. His love of his wife Kim was a love that most couples can only dream to have. Emmett and Kim didn’t have any kids of their own, but they sure had kids – and many of them. Emmett was the best role model, and would go above and beyond as a gramp, uncle, and father figure to numerous individuals. He had many professional accomplishments from his many years of working in the environmental waste/water services profession. Emmett also served honorably in the U. S. Airforce. Emmett retired after 29 years from the City of Brewer in July. He started a new career with Olver Associates at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kim (Clement) Locke; siblings, Berta and David, Becky and Tony, Mike and Andrea, Kevin and Cheryl, Rocky and Jimmy, Ruthy and Bill, Michelle, Maryanne and Murray, Carrie and Andy; special godson Eric and fiancé Tenisha and their sons Greysen and Kohen who were very special to Emmett; sisters-in-law, BJ and Allen, Beth and Jeff; mother-in-law, Estelle; a special grandnephew Gage and many other special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Mark.
