PORTLAND- Kevin Lovely , 34, of Portland passed away unexpectedly at his home in Portland, Maine on Friday, November 6, 2020. He was born April 7, 1986 in Bangor, Maine , son of Sonya Lovely, and Scott Lovely.
Kevin grew up in Levant, Maine, and attended Hermon High School. It was at school he met his first love, Kristine. They went on to spend many years together, and brought two beautiful children into this world, Khloe Jane Lovely, 10, of Levant, and Kaiden Michael Lovely, 6, of Levant. The children were the light of his life.
Kevin worked in the service industry in the Bangor for several years, then went on to work at Husson College in Bangor. Kevin moved to Portland in 2016, and began work at Progressive Insurance Company.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Sonya Lovely ,and her partner, Bill Lepack, of Livermore, his father, Scott Lovely of Eddington, his beloved brother, Michael Lovely, and his wife, Joanna of Litchfield. He is survived by both grandmothers, Maxine Crosby of Carmel, and Doris Lovely of Clifton, two special aunts and uncles, Tanya and Dan Kinney of Brewer, and Chris and Lisa Lovely of Clifton. He is survived by several cousins, and many, many friends.
He is predeceased by both grandfathers, Vincent Crosby of Carmel, and Eugene Lovely Sr of Clifton.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time, a celebration of life will be held at his mother’s home in Livermore. Due to the increase of the Covid-19 virus we need to keep the celebration to family, and his closest friends, to keep everyone safe. Kevin’s arrangements have been made at Brookings-Smith Funeral Home in Bangor, Maine.
