LEVANT- Kevin Scott Call Jr., 30, died August 23, 2020, in a tragic motorcycle accident. Kevin was born January 11, 1990 in Bangor, the son of Kevin Sr. and Kelly (Douglas) Call. Kevin graduated from Hermon High School, Class of 2008. He was a member of the JROTC and the Boy Scouts of America. He loved traveling all over the State of Maine tractor pulling his grandfather’s Minneapolis Moline with the Maine State Truck & Tractor Pullers Association and was on the Board of Directors for 2 years. He was a member of Central Maine Quarter Scale Lawn & Garden Tractors Pullers and followed his sister everywhere she pulled. Kevin proudly became a member of the Glenburn Fire Department in 2019. He was a member of the Olive Branch Lodge #124 of Charleston and the Anah Shriners. Kevin loved driving truck and working with his dad in the Groundwork Construction Business. If a truck or piece of machinery had a motor, he knew how to operate it. When he was not working, you could find him working with his buddy, Justin, in the garage. He had a special place in his heart for Paisley and loved their adventures together. Kevin absolutely loved spending time with all of his family and friends and was always a phone call away if anyone ever needed anything day or night. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Edna Call; maternal grandmother, Jackie Douglas; paternal great-grandmother, Grace Thayer; maternal great-grandmother June Kennett; and his niece Sophia Hebert-Call. Kevin is survived by his dad, Kevin Call Sr and wife, Tammie; mother, Kelly Call and Rodney Tolman; sister, Natasha Call; brother, Neil Call; paternal grandfather, Galen Call and girlfriend, Reta Shaw; maternal grampa, Marty Douglas and Dottie Gerrish; Kevin’s beloved girlfriend, Megan Hamel and her, niece Paisley; uncles, Steve Call and wife, Dawn, Gene Call and wife, Lori, Marty Douglas Jr, wife, Cindy; aunt, Louise Call; cousins, Christopher, Megan Dube and husband, Taylor, Ryan Call; second cousins, Dominic and Jackson; his buddies, Justin Byers, Eddie Frost, Kevin Curry, Arthur Hodgdon, Fred Richards, Fred “Gooby” Richards, the crew with the Maine State Truck & Tractor Pullers Association, the crew at Pike Industries, the crew at Feed Commodities, the crew at Levant Corner Store, the crew at the Corner Country Store, the crew at The Scott’s Company, the crew at Glenburn Sand and Gravel, and numerous family members and friends from all over the State of Maine.
