Glenburn - Kristin Anne Caruso, 52, passed away on December 12, 2022, in Glenburn. She was born May 13, 1970, at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland, the beloved daughter of Peter J. and Jean (Brown) Caruso.
Kristin graduated from Central High School in Martinsburg, PA and attended college at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Shepherd College in West Virginia, majoring in Education. She taught in public school for over three decades. Her family, teaching, fishing, her dog, Chase and raising chickens were her joy.
Surviving Kristin are her brothers, Tony H. Caruso and Gino P. Caruso; her parents; her loving son, Alexander P. Caruso and dearest daughter, Hayley E. Rossman, both living in Maine. In addition to her surviving grandmother, Jean K. Brown, age 97, Kristin has many wonderful cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, supportive friends and her soulmate, Brian Hatch all who loved fishing with her on Green Lake. Kristin will be missed every day and, in our hearts, forever.
Friends and family are invited to visit 5:00pm – 7:00pm Friday, December 16th 2022 at Brookings-Smith 133 Center Street, Bangor. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Kristin in a special way may make gifts, in her memory, to The Ronald McDonald House Charities, 654 State Street Bangor, Maine 04401 to nurture the health and well-being of children.
