BRADLEY - Larry W. Hallett Jr., of Bradley, 58, passed away, April 20, 2022, surrounded by his family, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 16, 1963, in Bangor, the son of Larry W. Hallett Sr. and Elaine (Emerson) Hallett. He was part of Bangor High Schools graduating class of 1981.
Larry worked for years as a satellite technician before transitioning to a slower pace dispatching job at Dick's Taxi prior to his retirement. Larry was a devoted father and grampy who enjoyed vacationing in warmer places, camping, working in the garage, and a good barter. Anyone who knew him, knew you likely wouldn't see him in the same vehicle twice.
Larry was predeceased by his daughter, Baby Girl Hallett.
Larry is survived by his partner, Julie Cousins; former wife, Glennis Green; son Mark Hallett and his fiancée, Kim Armstrong, of Danforth; son, John Hallett of Bradley; daughter, Rebbeca Hallett and her partner, Aaron Brown, of Levant; sister, Debbie Caldwell and her partner, Albert Hardy, of Glenburn; brother, Rodney Hallett of Holden; in-laws, Steven Caldwell, Belinda Hallett, and Casey Cunningham; his grandchildren, Dominique Rowell, John "J.J." Hallett Jr., Mark "M.J." Hallett Jr., Slater Cunningham, Brooke Hallett, Greyson Hallett and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
The family thanks the staff at Eastern Maine Medical Center for their special care and concern. There will be a gathering in his honor for family and friends, 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at his sister's home, located at 49 Merryman Road in Glenburn.
