Bangor - Laurie Ann Williams 53, of Bangor, passed away August 25, 2021. Laurie was born in Bangor ME, to Robert W. Tuck and Sue Ann (McCarthy) Thompson.
Laurie devoted her life to her three children, leaving her position as a Medical Assistant in Tucson, AZ after her first child was born. She never wanted to be the center of attention but would go out of her way to help anyone that needed it, even if she had nothing left to give. Laurie had a huge heart and considered all her children’s friends her kids too.
In addition to her mother, Laurie is survived by her children; Stephanie Williams and partner Shane Woodard, Tyler Williams and Dakota Platt, brother Jimmy Michaud, Aunts and Uncles; Jackie and Mike Haney, Tom and Michelle McCarthy, Patrick McCarthy and Delia Hammond, Mary (McCarthy) and Mark Hathaway, along with many cousins.
Laurie was predeceased by her father, Paternal Grandparents, Delight and Leon Tuck, and Maternal Grandparents, Sylvia Pomroy, and Robert McCarthy.
A gathering to celebrate Laurie’s life will be held by the family at a later date, to be announced.
