Carmel – Linda Diane Boudreau, 61, died unexpectedly June 10, 2015, at her home in Carmel. She was born February 17, 1954, in Bangor, the daughter of Francis J. and Dorothy J. (Palmer) Boudreau.
Linda graduated from Hermon High School, class of 1972, then attended Bangor Community College, where she received a degree in law enforcement. She was a police officer in the town for Hermon for several years, and then took on a job as a dispatcher, first for Penobscot County, then the town of Hampden, a job she held for many years and loved, then worked for regional dispatch until her retirement. When she wasn’t working she spent her time with her dog, Pretty Girl.
Linda was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy, and Aunt Marion. She is survived by her father, Francis Boudreau and wife Virginia; a sister Donna Mahon and husband Greg; a nephew Francis Mahon and wife Allison; a niece Marion Astbury and husband Seth, and their children; and several aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, June 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, where relatives and friends may call from 1 PM until the start of the service at 2 PM.
