HERMON - Linda Ganglfinger, 85, died peacefully May 26, 2024, at an Orono healthcare facility. She was born April 28, 1939, in Woolwich, to Bernard and Beatrice (Browne) Bailey.
Linda graduated from Morse High School, Class of 1957. Shortly after high school she married George Ganglfinger and settled in Bath, Maine to raise 4 children.
Surviving Linda, are 3 sons, Eric Ganglfinger, Robert Ganglfinger and his wife, Sharon and Mark Ganglfinger and his wife, Mechelle, as well as daughter-in-law, Julie Ganglfinger. Linda also leaves 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband, Rev. George Ganglfinger and her son, George Ganglfinger IV.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Interment will be in Bailey Cemetery, Woolwich at a date and time to be determined. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
