Lloyd L. Goodwin Jr, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children June 4th, 2024. He was born April 22nd, 1958, in Cambridge, MA, the son of Lloyd Sr and Olga (Namakas) Goodwin.
Lloyd was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed everything outdoors such as hunting, camping, fishing, ATV riding, and archery. He was a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Goodwin; ex-wife, Cynthia Curtis; children, Gary Goodwin and wife, Cheri, Randy Goodwin and wife, Lindsay; and Jessica Cassidy; grandchildren, Andrew Goodwin, Conner Goodwin, Logan Goodwin, Liam Goodwin, and Claire Cassidy; siblings; Cathy Lucas and husband, Bernie, Roberta Kirk and husband, Eugene, Savilla McClure, and John Goodwin and wife, Ann; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings; Alvin Goodwin, Kenneth Goodwin, Charlotte Sousa, and Donna Haley.
The family invites relative and friends to share in a celebration of his life with conversation and refreshments 2-4PM, Saturday, June 8th, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, ME. Those who wish to remember Lloyd in a special way may make donations to your local animal shelter or local ASPCA.
