EAST ORLAND – Lorna Erma (Hartford) Leighton, 59, passed away unexpectedly October 3, 2022 at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 9, 1963 in Dexter.
Lorna was extremely loved and will forever be missed by her family and friends. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Lorna was a CNA for over 30 years and would always be there to help. Lorna had a huge heart.
Lorna was predeceased by her mother, Betty Hamilton and husband, Arnold Hamilton, and her father, Arnold Hartford. She is Survived by her 3 brothers, Greg, Bobby and Jimmy and their families; 3 sisters, Debbie Taylor, Susan McCormick, Lynda Patterson and their families; her 2 daughters, Candice Harvey and husband, Travis, Anna Ryan and husband, Tom; one son, Corey Leighton and wife, Bethany; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Joshua, Charity, Caitlyn, Cassidy, CJ, Leighton, Jewel, Jaden, and Corey Jr.
She also had many cousins and 4 great grandchildren, Cece, Celeste, Lexie, and Audrea.
A memorial service to honor Lorna’s life will be held 11am Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Brookings- Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor, Maine.
