Louise Bradbury

ORONO – Louise M. “Dee” Bradbury (Cota), 99, passed away peacefully December 16, 2016, with her loving family by her side, at an Orono healthcare facility. She was born June 10, 1917, in Orono, the daughter of Joseph and Maude (Hubley) Cota.

Dee was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School in Orono. Dee’s longtime profession was working as a secretary at the Superintendent’s office in the Orono school district. She married the love of her life, Charles C. Bradbury, and together had two children. Dee was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic parish in Orono and Daughters of Isabella in both Orono and Old Town.

In addition to her parents, Dee is predeceased by her husband, Charles C., many brothers and sisters, and a son-in-law, Rick White. Surviving is a daughter, JoAnn White, a son, Charles L. “Brad” Bradbury, grandchildren, Meghan Agrell and husband Jason, and Andrew White; a sister, June Anderson, a brother, Ross Cota, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be announced in the spring.
