Lucinda J. (Durhm) Snowden
Zephyrhills, FL.-Greenville
Lucinda Snowden, 60, passed away March 6, 2014 in Florida, after a brief illness. She was born May 14, 1953 in Conway, S.C., daughter of James and Patricia (Hopkins) Durham, Sr.
She was a graduate of John Bapst High School, class of 1971, and she attended Bangor Community College. Lucinda began working in the emergency department at EMMC. She spent her entire career in the medical field as office manager for several doctors and finally at Northeast Surgery, prior to her retirement in 2000.
Lucinda enjoyed the outdoors, fly fishing, cooking and especially spending time with her family and friends whom she loved dearly. After retirement she worked for nine years for Lily Bay State Park at Moosehead Lake as a receptionist. The other half of the year she spent in Zephyrhills, FL. with her husband, where she was a member and volunteer bar tender at the American Legion Post #118.
Surviving are her husband, Gregory Snowden of Greenville; a brother, James Durham, Jr. of Bangor; two stepchildren, Jessica Raimy of Yarmouth, and Joshua Snowden Baci of Baltimore, MD.; two granddaughters, Violet Raimy of Yarmouth and Amelia Baci of MD.; a nephew, Aaric Rowe of Bangor; a niece, Savannah Durham of FL.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. Saturday June 7, 2014 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, York St. Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal to be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday at the Chadbourne Cemetery, Harmony, Maine.
