Frankfort – Lynda G. (Cole) Parker, 76, passed away peacefully at home August 20, 2021, with her family by her bedside. She was born February 11, 1945, the daughter of the late Charles O. and Nelda (Glidden) Cole, of Winterport. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Stewart Parker.
Lynda is survived by her children, Stewart Jr. and wife, Catherine Parker, of Prospect, Laurie and husband, Mark Knight, of Frankfort, and Steve and wife, Tracy Parker, of Winterport; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings. Lynda spent most of her career as a wife and mom, which she considered to be the best job ever. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She also worked as a food service “lunch lady” for many years at the Frankfort Elementary School. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 1-2 p.m. Tuesday August 24, 2021 at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden. A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport, immediately following.
