BANGOR - Lynette (Randell) Thibodeau, 86, passed peacefully at home with her family November 23, 2022, after a long illness. She was born February 23, 1936, in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of Linwood C. and Sarah J. (McNally) Randell.

Lynette was a graduate of Winterport High School, Class of 1952. She completed Beauty school in Bangor, and soon after owned and operated her own Beauty shop in Winterport for several years. In September of 1959, she married her true love, Joseph “Bill” Thibodeau. They celebrated 63 years of marriage this year.

After closing her shop, she was a mother, and homemaker. Later in life, she owned and operated Sunnyside Day Care which provided loving care for many children. Lynette also enjoyed square dancing, sharing it with friends and family most of her life. She was an avid crafter, she enjoyed painting, pottery, stained glass, and many other forms of creative arts.

In addition to her beloved husband, Lynette is survived by her son, Joseph Thibodeau II and his partner, Carol Mansen; daughter, Sara Forsythe; and her husband, Scott; granddaughters, Allison and Vicky; great-grandchildren, Donovan, Greyson, Lyra, Benjamin, Rylin; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 435 S Main St, Winterport. The Rite of Committal will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 12, 2022, at Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta.
