BANGOR - Lynne W. McKee, 84, died June 6, 2021, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born November 2, 1936, in New Orleans, the daughter of Augustine A. and Ruth A. D'Amico.
Lynne was a graduate of Colby College. Soon after graduation, she wed Robert M. McKee on September 1, 1958. They enjoyed 30 years of marriage until Robert's passing in 1988. Lynne spent a number of years volunteering for both the Morris Museum of Arts and Sciences in New Jersey and the Hamden Food Bank in Maine.
Surviving Lynne are her two sons, Robert M. McKee Jr. and Craig L. McKee and his wife, Connie. In addition to her parents, Lynne was predeceased by a brother, Jerry.
There will be a private graveside service at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Those who wish to remember Lynne in a special way may make a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, New England Chapter, 101A First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451.
