Margaret Gutierrez

Orrington and Brewer - Margaret E. (Floyd) Gutierrez, 69, passed away unexpectedly, at home on May 16, 2015. She was born on May 1, 1946, to Gilbert and Dora (Clewely) Floyd. Margaret was a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, and Grandmother. She had a heart of gold always putting others before herself, often working two or three jobs to support her three children. Most recently, she worked as an independent contractor delivering newspapers for the Bangor Daily News. Margaret is predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Gilbert Floyd, of Florida and Larry Floyd, of Clifton; her infant son, John David Denniston, and her first born grandson, James Clifford Belanger-Denniston. She is survived by her three children, Richard Murphy Jr., and ex-spouse Jennifer Murphy, Shelly Murphy and partner Richard O'Clair, and Hoyt Denniston and his wife Robin. She is also survived by her four grandchildren in whom she cherished dearly and was extremely proud of each and every one, Wesley Murphy, Dylan Murphy, Brent Denniston, and Brian Denniston. The family invites relatives and friends to join them for an informal celebration of her life, 2:00pm Saturday May 23, 2015, at the Blackman Cemetery, Bradley Road, Eddington.
