MARION HACKETT RIDEOUT

VEAZIE – Marion H. Rideout, 81, fell asleep in Jesus November 1, 2020. She was born July 29, 1939, in Winterport, the daughter of Lledrew C. and Adelia E. (Parker) Hackett.

Marion graduated from Winterport High School, Class of 1958. Following high school, she graduated Faith School of Theology in 1962. She was Ordained in 1997 with the North American Ministerial Association.

Over the years in the Ministry, Marion served as Assistant Pastor, Youth Leader, Co-Pastor and a Sunday School Teacher. Her anointed singing and playing the piano, touched so many lives for God’s glory alone!
Marion also worked as a secretary, a bank teller, and at Em Bee Dry Cleaners in her lifetime.

She deeply cared for others, and always tried to Witness about her Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her brothers, Talbot S. Hackett Sr., and Ormond B. Hackett; sisters, Norma F. (Hackett) Allen, and Lorraine E. Hackett. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, True A. Rideout; her only son, Daniel; brothers, Lledrew S. Hackett Sr. and his wife, Gladys, of Newburgh, and Charles A. Hackett Sr. and his wife, Marion of Arkansas; and by many special friends, nieces, nephews and daughter in-law, Lisa.
