GLENBURN – Mark W. “Billy” Allard, 43, passed away unexpectedly May 6, 2018, due to the result of an automobile accident. He was born April 20, 1975, in Bangor, the son of George and Karon (Allard) Beatham.

Billy graduated from Hampden Academy, Class of 1993. Following graduation, he attended UTC earning his CDL license. Billy was a truck driver for many years and also was employed at Westgate IGA and Pray’s Farm during his working career. Billy’s hobbies included cars, welding, golfing, racing cars, fishing, and shooting pool. Billy was a hard worker, no matter what he was doing. He especially loved working on cars. Billy was so personable and friendly - everybody he met loved him. He has left a huge void in many hearts.

Billy was predeceased by a sister, Desiree Allard; grandparents, Pauline and Ernest Allard; grandmothers, Alice Gallant and Ruth Beatham, aunts, Joan Coolidge, Phyllis Turner; and uncles, Randy Allard and Larry Beatham. He is survived by his son, Devon M. Allard and Devon’s mother, Tracey K. Savage of Glenburn; parents, Karon and George Beatham of Bradford; step-daughters, Erica Cook and Emily Hughes of NH; brothers, Shawn Allard of Bradford, Christopher Beatham and husband, Joshua of Hudson; Edward Chase and wife, Cindy of NC, Todd Walkins and wife, Kristin of GA, George Walkins and wife, Mary of Bucksport, Jamie Walkins and wife, Leanne of WI; sister, Billie Jo Page and husband, Chris of NC; aunts and uncles, Ernest Allard of Kenduskeag, Virginia Rawls of Lewiston, Gary Allard of Winterport, Scott Allard of Rockland, Penny Miller of Glenburn, Bill Beatham of CA, Steve Beatham of Bangor, John Kimball of Ellsworth, Gertrude Folster of Presque Isle, Kathy White of Bangor, James Beatham of Old Town, and Rose Dorrance of Plymouth; nieces, Lylianah Allard and Miranda Beatham; several other nieces and nephews; many cousins; and a special friend, Woody Robinson.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Monday May 14, 2018, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, with Rev. Jeff Joiner, pastor of the Lewiston Christian Fellowship, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 11 am until time of service, Monday. Private interment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery, Bucksport, at a later date.
