**Mark Allen King**

**1960 - 2025**

Mark Allen King, 64, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away, February 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for his family. Born in Old Town, Maine, to Carol St. Peter and Edward King, Mark grew up with a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to those he cared for.

For over four decades, Mark dedicated himself to his career as a Project Manager and "Mr. Fix It" for Ocean Properties, LTD, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. His hands could build, repair, and restore anything, but his greatest pride was in building a beautiful life for his family, no matter the cost.

Mark found joy in snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, anything mechanics-related and working on his dream project-the King Camp at Chemo Pond. These passions brought him happiness, but nothing compared to the love he had for his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Sharon King, and a committed father dearly loved by his children Cody (Amber) King, Brandon King, and Cassidy (Derrick) Hughes-Edwards. Two of his most recent blessings were his grandchildren, Braxtyn and Morgan, who brought a new meaning to his life.

He is preceded in death by his mother Carol, father Edward, sister Cynthia, and brother George. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his children, grandchildren, and siblings Beverly, Eddie and Heather.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit with family on Thursday, February 27th from 2pm to 4pm at Brookings-Smith (133 Center St, Bangor, ME) with a celebration of life happening at the Residence Inn (22 Bass Park Blvd, Bangor, ME) from 4:15pm to 6:30pm. There will be an additional celebration of life in South Florida - more details to follow.

Mark's hardworking hands may now rest, but his love, strength, and memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and continue to love him.
