BANGOR – Mark A. Leen, 62, passed away January 31, 2019, after a brave and courageous battle with Melanoma. He was born July 28, 1956, in Bangor, the son of Sidney J. and June E. (McKenzie) Leen.
Mark attended Bangor schools. He started working at Grant’s Dairy at the age of 15, where he continued to work for 41 years. Mark married Debra Brown in 1978, and together shared 41 years of marriage. He enjoyed camping, his Harley, and going to yard sales. Mark’s family was his main priority.
In addition to his parents, Mark was predeceased by a brother, David Leen, in 2013. He is survived by his wife, Debra Leen; daughter, Sarah Leen and her significant other, Tony Bourbon, daughter, Megan Leen; sisters, Diana Violette, and Joanna Call and husband, Dave; a brother, Sidney “Joey” Leen III; and a special cousin, Cathy Wescott and her granddaughter, Caitlin Gosselin, who were a big support to Debra through Mark’s illness; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial reception 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor.
