Mark Anthony Taylor, 62, passed away November 4, 2023. He was born June 9, 1961, in Bangor, and was the son of the late Eugene and Loretta (Brooks) Taylor.
Mark attended Dexter Schools and had several jobs over the years. His most recent ones involved being a crossing guard at Mary Snow School in Bangor and a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. Mark, while recently unable to attend, enjoyed his time at the Unlimited Solutions Clubhouse and enjoyed attending church Sundays. Mark had a passion for music and loved to play his guitar. Mark will be remembered for how much he loved his family. His five nieces and two nephews were the light of his life and he was so very proud of each of them and their accomplishments.
Mark is survived by his brother, Robert Taylor, of Dexter, and by his sister, Michelle and husband Kelly White, Farmington. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Erica and husband Elijah Walsh of Lincoln, Lori Taylor and Amos Corson of Dexter, Rebekka and husband Matthew Richard of Corinna, Andrew Taylor of Dexter, Amber White of Brewer, Megan and husband Joshua Charest of Jay and Jacob White of Farmington; great-nieces and nephews, KayLeigh, Alexis, Kristopher, Zain, Jocelyn, Morgan, Sarah, Leland, Olivia, Liam, Lilly, Milani and Gabriella.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. Relatives and friends are welcome to gather with the family from 10:00 AM until the service begins. Interment will be at the North Newport Cemetery following the service.
