Mary Horan, 93, of Bangor passed peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2024 at Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mary was born in Boston, MA on July 16, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Horan; brother Robert Horan Jr.; and niece Janet Horan. She is survived by her beloved great niece Jessica Horan and great , great niece Beatrix Horan, as well as a bevy of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mary was a devoted daughter and aunt and a fierce friend. She dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a woman of faith and cherished the rosary. Mary was generous and never allowed friends, family, and strangers to go without. Mary's family thanks the staff at Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and St. Joseph's Hospice for their compassion and care in her final year of life. Family and friends may call 4 pm to 6 pm, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ohio St., Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt.
