Mary Miller

May 6, 2001 — July 18, 2019

Mary Elisabeth Rose Miller, 18, died suddenly, July 18, 2019. She was born May 6, 2001, in Bangor, the daughter of Robert and Amy (Huntley) Miller.

Mary recently graduated from Central High School, Class of 2019, and was planning on attending Eastern Maine Community College, majoring in Early Childhood Education. She participated in cheering, field hockey, and was a member of the Project Adventure Club during her time at Central High School. Mary worked at the Corinth Village Creamery, where your ice cream was always served with a glowing smile.

Mary Miller was a beautiful young lady inside and out. She was always willing to lend a helping hand or share some positive words of encouragement and kindness. Mary had an affinity with children and always took them under her wing. Her interest in their well-being led to her pursuit of a teacher career. Mary was a hard worker and was always willing to help, whether it was with firewood, maintaining the family garden, or helping to collect maple sap with her family. She was raised with values that taught her; as well as her siblings, that hard work is always the key to success, that even a simple smile can change a person’s entire day, and above all to take care of one another. Mary was preparing to enter her college career with her boyfriend Isaac Rollins. Mary and Isaac had planned a bright future for themselves, a simple life. They were the perfect match. Mary jumped on board with the life of racing and was and forever will be Isaac’s biggest cheerleader. Mary’s smile would light up a room and her infectious laughter will truly be missed by all.

Mary was predeceased by her grandfathers, Robert Miller Sr., and Richard Huntley and her great-grandmother, Margaret Farnham. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Amy Miller of Bradford; siblings, Alicia Miller, Robert “Jack” Miller, Kathryn Miller, all of Bradford; boyfriend, Isaac Rollins of Hudson; great-grandfather, Valden Farnham of Columbus, Ohio; grandparents, Bruce & Diana Farnham of Weld, Carolyn Huntley of Charleston, Gabriel Miller of Rutland, VT, Ray & Betty Stewart of Corinth; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Charleston Church, 185 Main Road, Charleston, with the Rev. Matthew Ward, pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery, Bradford.
