Mary Ann Sylvester

Mary Ann Sylvester, 56, died March 20, 2016. She was born in Waterville, March 27, 1959, daughter of Ralph A. Sylvester and Doris F.(Chapman) Sewall.
Mary graduated from Hampden Academy class of 1978. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with family on the beaches picking up shells and sea glass.
She was a member of the Ft. Fairfield United Pentecostal Church and enjoyed very much her church family and music.
Surviving are one son, Norman C. Sylvester and his wife, Rebecca, of Limestone; three brothers, Dan R. Sylvester and his wife, Marilyn of Deer Isle, Richard “Dickie” Sylvester and his wife Beth of Benton, Kenneth E. Sylvester and his partner, Cathy of Winslow, five sisters, Marie E. Osborne of China, Joyce M. Hersey and husband, Herb, of China, Brenda J. Cook and husband Skip of Winterport, Betty L. Hobbs and husband, Jacques “Jack” of Unity, Wendy S. Sylvester and partner, Warren R. Cooper, of Duck Lake; one grandson, Liam W. Sylvester; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; a very special niece, Sheena Bray of Deer Isle.
A graveside service will be held later in the spring at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport, at a time to be announced.
