Hampden - Matthew D. Twombly, 18, passed away July 29, 2021, at his home in Hampden. He was born June 13, 2003, in Bangor, the son of Lisa (Degerstrom) and Daniel Twombly.
Matty loved music, James Bond movies, The Incredibles and sharks. His personality lit up a room and anyone that met him, fell forever in love with him.
Matty attended McGraw Elementary, Reeds Brook Middle School and Hampden Academy where he made many friends. His smile and spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. The amazing friends, school staff and nurses he has known through the years have become life-long friends.
He will be eternally loved and missed by his parents, his sisters, Kassidy and Haley, and his little brother Liam.
There will be no service. In lieu of flowers or cards, simply honor him by being kind, accepting and inclusive.
