Winterport - Merlin D. “Junior” Cunningham Jr., 75, died unexpectedly on January 14, 2022 at a Bangor Hospital with his loving wife, Donna by his side. He was born October 10, 1946, in Belfast, the son of Merlin D. and Nellie (Crooker) Cunningham.
Merlin served in the United States Navy for 27 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; step-children, Amy and her husband, David Smith of Winterport, Corey Cunningham and his wife, Pamela, of Winterport, and Justin Kell of Newport, RI; two sisters, Dianna and Vicky of Frankfort; two brothers, Jeff and Andy Cunningham of Winterport. Merlin was predeceased by five siblings, Marcia, Twin Skip, Steve, Ronnie, and infant Dana.
Services will be private for the family.
