ORRINGTON - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Michael “Mike” Mulholland. Mike passed unexpectedly July 19, 2021 in Orrington. He was born March 31, 1978 in Calais, the son of Cynthia (Steeves) Rossignol and Larry Mulholland.
Mike graduated from Brewer High School in 1996. He was a talented sheet metal worker and a member of Local 17. Recently he had been working with Twin City Sheet Metal and had great friends there like Jeremy.
Mike loved working with his hands and was precise with anything he attempted. Mike enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling, fishing, snowmobiling, water-skiing, and spending time at Brewer Lake and Scraggly Lake.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Steve and Rosemarie Mulholland, of Princeton, and maternal grandfather, Doug Steeves, of Enfield, and his beloved chocolate lab, Ozzy.
Mike is survived by his mother, Cindy and stepdad, Rob Rossignol of Holden; father, Larry and stepmom, Shelley of Winterville, NC; sister, Erica and husband, Hardy and their children, Blake and Weston of Winterville, NC; maternal grandmother, Betty Steeves of Enfield; his aunts, Judy Steeves and her companion, David, of Bucksport, Candy Bayliss and Kenny of Florida; his uncle, Dean Mulholland of Princeton; his cousins, Kim Johnson, Kyle and Erin Johnson and their boys.
Mike had a great friend, Chuck who was always there for him through the years.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 S Main Street, Brewer. Immediately following the service relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Rooms of Brookings-Smith.
