HOWLAND/OLD TOWN – Michael “Mike” Theriault, 72, went home to be with his Lord on September 9, 2023, surrounded by family after a 5-year battle with cancer. He was born March 8, 1951, in Lincoln, the son of Donald and Priscilla (St. Peter) Theriault.
Mike was happily married to Leda (Duplessis) Theriault. He was also blessed to have had many friends throughout his life. He was always quick with a one-liner or a joke. His laugh will be remembered by everyone.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his children, Jill Clark and her husband, Kenny, of Old Town, Florida, David Theriault and his wife, Tracie, of Old Town, and Teri Dorr and her husband, Chris, of Milford; grandchildren, Taylor Foster and her fiancé, Eric and Samantha of St. Cloud, Florida; sisters, Karen Rancourt and her husband, Raymond, of Howland, and Kathy Theriault, of Florida; nephew, Kevin Rancourt, of Howland; niece, Lacey Rowland and her husband, Johnny, of Florida; brothers-in-law, Al and his wife, Laura, James, and Gene and his wife, Judy; and many friends. In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Barbara Jackson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2023, at Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Holy Family Church, 429 Main St. Old Town. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the Parish Hall immediately following Mass.
