Michele N. (Morin) Cole passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on March 22, 2016. Michele was born on December 2, 1947 in Bangor.
Michele graduated from Brewer High School in 1965 and was employed at Bangor Savings Bank and most recently with her friends at Hardwood Products in Guilford. She was a long-time active member at the United Methodist Church in Bangor and engaged in the United Methodist Woman, Chakko Circle, Beta Sigma Phi and proud cheer coach at Brewer High School along with being a volunteer in the Brewer PAL and Brewer Pop Warner leagues, she loved coaching her girls. Michele also had passion in leading and arranging impressive Yard Sales, many would say the “Queen” of the Garage Sale in the state of Maine.
Michele is survived by her 31 year life partner, Jeff Edgerly of Dover-Foxcroft; her two children, Chris and his wife, Wendy Cole of Londonderry, NH. Wendy & her husband, Michael Moye of Bangor; sister, Tanya and her husband Bob Booker; brothers, William P. Morin & Thom Morin. Michele was “Grammie” to Kelsey, Dylan, Haley, Cassidy Cole & Kayli Noyes. Also remembered are niece, Brooke Haas; nephew, Ethan Booker; her Aunt Louise and Uncle Willard Carleton; along with her many family and friends and Mary’s cooking. Michele rests now with her pre-deceased loving Mother and Father, William and Mabel Morin. The family would like to extend its appreciation to Beacon Hospice for the kind care in her transition.
Family and friends are invited to join in a “Celebration of Life”, 11 am, Saturday, March 26 at the United Methodist Church, 703 Essex Street, with a reception to follow.
