On July 4th 2022 Michelle Lynn Boudreau lost her hard fought battle with chronic kidney disease. Michelle was born on June 1st, 1972 in Waterville Maine to her loving mother, Paula Young Fundaro. Michelle was a 1990 graduate from Waterville High School, and went on to pursue studies as a medical assistant and CNA. In addition to her work in the medical field, she also spent time as a cashier and as an in-home care provider. However, Michelle’s most proud profession was being a Mom and Grandmother to both biological and bonus children.
Michelle will always be remembered for her infectious smile and for her willingness to help. She constantly opened her home and her heart to her children’s friends, giving them a safe landing place in times of need. Michelle loved music, especially Metallica and enjoyed a final show in May. She gravitated to the sun, and had an obsession with sugar skulls, which pared nicely with her favorite holiday, Halloween.
Michelle was survived by her two children, Carly Cleaves and Jesse Boudreau, as well as her bonus child, Santana Jimenez. She also left behind two grandchildren, Allana Cleaves and Aria Hanna, her mother, Paula Fundaro, and father Alan Boudreau. Siblings; Michael and his wife Michelle, Kevin and his partner Jen, life partner Carl Powell, as well as nieces and nephews. Michelle is survived by loving aunts and uncles and many close friends. She was predeceased by: Joan Young, Raymond Young, Raymond Young Jr. Bartholomew Fundaro, and Jean Poulin
While Michelle left this earth far too soon, her spirit and smile will live on through her family infinitely. There will be a celebration of Michelle’s life on Saturday August 6th from 1:00-5:00pm at the Fairfield VFW, 246 Main St. Fairfield ME. This will be a potluck event, and open to all who would like to say goodbye.
