Michelle Farmer

Bangor - On August 27, 2024, Michelle "Mickey" E. Farmer, 67, unexpectedly put on her angel wings and flew home to be with her parents. Mickey was born November 26, 1956, in Millinocket, ME, to Joseph and Emily (Randlett) Farmer. Mickey was the inspiration for Joe and Emily to help cofound Katahdin Friends Inc, which she attended until she was 18 years old.
Words will never describe the appreciation and gratitude to Cindy Blodgett who advocated for Mickey over the last 33 years. Special thanks to Leigh Mosher and the staff at Creative Options who took exceptional care of Mickey. Surviving are her sister, Kathy Aylward and husband, Tate; nieces; and great-nieces and a great-nephew.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, 04401.
